Online alarm clock
Set an alarm right here in your browser. When it rings, it keeps ringing until you solve a sum. That is the RiseDare idea in one page.
This alarm lives in this browser tab: it rings only while the tab is open, the computer is awake and the sound is on. It cannot wake a sleeping laptop or ring through silent mode. The RiseDare app can, and it will not let you stop it from bed.
Why a sum, and not a snooze button
One sleepy tap and the alarm is gone. A sum needs your brain switched on first.
The goal is not hearing the alarm. It is being up. A small task gets you there.
Push-ups counted by the camera, a photo of the sky, a QR code in the kitchen, and it rings through silent mode.
Questions people ask
No. A website can only ring while its tab is open and your computer is awake, with the sound on. For an alarm that rings with the app closed and the phone on silent, use the RiseDare app.
Because switching an alarm off should take a working brain. On the phone app the same idea goes further: push-ups, a photo of the sky, a QR code in the kitchen.
